Fun and Easy Bracelets

Spring is finally here which means we are finally getting out our short sleeve tops.

I don't wear a lot of bracelets in the winter because my wrists are covered so I'm so excited to start wearing my bracelets again!  And, I'm ready to be inspired with some fun and cute new bracelets that won't break the bank.

Here are a few I've seen that I have to try:
Suzy's Artsy-Craftsy Sitcom shows how to make fun, easy, and inexpensive bracelets out of popsicle sticks.
Show Tell Share shows this fabulous cuff that is super easy to make.  I will be going to Hobby Lobby this week to see if I can find a wood cuff bracelet.

We want to see some bracelets you've made recently.  Inspire us to start making some jewelry.

Link up any bracelet you've made and posted on your blog.  We want everyone to show off their fabulous creation!!

And, if you have some awesome bracelets for sale at your Etsy shop, add your etsy shop HERE.

Make Your Own Canvas Crafts

I have a new found obsession with canvas projects.  I usually pick them up whenever I see them on sale at my local A.C. Moore store.  The other week my local A.C. Moore had 24x30 or 24x36 deep canvases on sale for $9.99.  They are regularly $34.99.  What a deal!

What about this World Market knock-off from Two Girls Being Crafty.  I have painted a square canvas...but haven't started this project yet...maybe tonight.  I just love it.  You can use any colors to match your decor.

And look at this super easy project.  Stylelush uses canvas and laser cut scrapbook paper to create this cute artwork.
I love how easy this project is and I know exactly where to find those laser cut scrapbook papers.  What a perfect way to decorate a nursery or playroom.

We want to see your art work.  Be sure to link up with something fabulous you have created on canvas below.

Printables for a Great Cause

I have a new found obsession with printables.  I love to download all of the free ones I see and LOVE on the Internet and I have been dabbling in making my own.

This evening while going through my Google Reader and came across Sprik Space's new printables for a great cause.  Aimee is offering some great printables in hopes you will make a small donation to a family who has lost two children due to cystic fibrosis.  Check out her page, this cause, and these awesome printables.   What a WIN-WIN situation.  You can get a fabulous printable or two and donate to a great cause in the mean time.  I am loving the lime green" I love you" one as well as the "remember this moment" one.  Sprik Space has a TON of awesome FREE printables.  I am sure you will find one you would love to print out and have.

If you offer free printables on your page, feel free to link up below.

I also love the bright colors used in this wreath by Lisa at The Pursuit of Happiness.
This jelly bean wreath by Nikki Nifty Knacks would also be fun to make!

Share Your Favorite Easter Recipe

Easter is in about a week.  We have plans to go to an Easter brunch, however I will want to find a great recipe for a fun dessert to enjoy afterwards.

I think I am going to make these Easter egg hunt cookies.  Aren't they adorable?  They would be perfect for a kid's party.  I am hoping to pick up some of these mini Cadbury creme eggs at Target so I can make some.  This recipe calls for jelly beans on top.  You could also use the robin egg candies or the Reeses Pieces eggs.

These are Katrina's cookies from In Katrina's Kitchen.  Be sure to check out her other great recipes.

I'm Going Bananas ~ Recipes Using Bananas

One of my husband's favorite treats is banana bread.  I used to be that wife who bought the boxed banana bread from the grocery store.  I think boxed banana bread is pretty tasty.  Well I stopped making it once I came across a recipe for homemade banana bread.

It seems as if we always have a few extra ripe bananas leftover at the end of the week.  So they are perfect to throw into some banana bread.  Or you can freeze them and when you are ready to use them, cut off the tip of one end and then squeeze them into your recipe.

Link up below to share your favorite recipe that uses BANANAS!!

Who Loves Etsy?

Today I stumbled across Heartsy.  Have you heard of it?  I am a huge fan of Groupon and buy many of their deals...well Heartsy is pretty much the same thing but they only feature Etsy sellers.   With the tight economy it makes sense for people to want good deals.  Or, if you have an Etsy shop and haven't heard of this great site, you need to hurry up and check it out so you can be featured on there.  So if you love Etsy, why not sign up with Heartsy to get their daily deals sent to your inbox?  Here is another one of those things where I think I wish I had thought of it...

Here is a recent Heartsy deals I wish I had scooped up -

$12 for a $30 credit to this super cool Etsy shop - HelloGoodbyeAgain.

We want you to share your Etsy shop or your favorite Etsy shop.  Add it to the linky below so you can feature the fabulous items you create and sell.

*We have no affiliation with Heartsy or the Etsy shops profiled in today's post... we are just sharing something fabulous we stumbled across*

We Want to Feature You!

We are two friends with blogs.

We read so many other fabulous blog posts and come across amazing  ideas
all of the time that we share with one another.  Most of the time we  realize
we have done a version similar or we realize we could make that same
thing...or tweak it and make it to better suit our needs.  Or  sometimes we have
these great ideas to share and want to get it out  there to more people than
those who follow our blogs.

So we decided to create this blog so everyone can feel as if  their
creative ideas are being shared among the masses.

For our first post we are just asking people to link  up their favorite
craft, DIY project, recipe, remodel, etc... to the  linky below.  The images
are larger than the usual linky parties I've seen  so everyone can feel as if
their idea is being featured!

We will be featuring crafts, DIY projects, recipes, and home decor projects
and then would love for everybody to link up with similar projects you've
created.

We also welcome you to contact us with crafts, DIY projects, recipes, and
home decor projects you would like us to feature on our blog.

So go ahead...post a link below, and then grab our button and add us to
your blog.  Don't forget to follow us so you get a new fabulous idea
delivered to your Google Reader each day.
